5-Carboxylcytosine DNA Standard Kit (0.5 µg)
背景资料：The 5-Carboxylcytosine DNA Standard Kit consists of two oligonucleotides, each containing 0.5 µg double-stranded DNA. The Carboxylcytosine Standard consists of a 38-mer with 8 carboxylcytosine modifications on the forward strand and 4 carboxylcytosine modifications on the reverse strand. The annealed dsDNA, therefore, contains a total of 12 carboxylcytosine residues. The Unmodified Standard consists of the same 38-mer DNA sequence without any modifications to the cytosine residues such that it can be used as a negative control.

The antibody specifically recognizes the 5-Carboxylcytosine Standard and does not detect DNA that is unmodified or contains 5-methylcytosine or 5-hydroxymethylcytosine methylation

1、Includes three DNA standards: unmodified DNA containing only cytosines, methylated DNA containing only 5-methylcytosines, and hydroxymethylated DNA containing only 5-hydroxymethylcytosines；
2、Each standard is a 200 base pair fragment that was generated by PCR using the Methylamp™ MS-qPCR Fast Kit (Cat. #A-P-1028) and contains 57 cytosine residues on the forward strand, of which 19 are at CpG sites；
3、Each DNA standard is confirmed by electrophoresis on an agarose gel；
4、The included PCR primers contain both forward and reverse strand primers to amplify a 127 base pair PCR product of the DNA standard. These PCR primers can be used for either endpoint or real time PCR；
