DNA Methylation Standard Kit (3 x 2.5 µg)
背景资料：A&D Technology's Methylated DNA Standard Kit includes three recombinant double-stranded DNA standards derived from the APC gene promoter: unmethylated DNA, 5-methylcytosine methylated DNA and 5-hydroxymethylcytosine methylated DNA. The DNA standards can be used as positive controls in methylation analysis experiments, or used in combination with A&D Technology's antibodies to the different types of DNA methylation.

500 ng of each DNA standard was loaded on a 2.5% agarose gel. Lane 1: unmethylated DNA. Lane 2: 5-methylcytosine containing DNA. Lane 3: 5-hydroxymethylcytosine containing DNA.

DNA (50 ng) from the three different samples was spotted onto a positively charged nylon membrane. 产品描述：The DNA standards are suitable for use in dot blot, or spiked recovery immunoprecipitation assays. The Methylated DNA Standard Kit also includes positive control PCR primers specific to the APC promoter which can be used for real time or endpoint PCR analysis.

1、Includes three DNA standards: unmodified DNA containing only cytosines, methylated DNA containing only 5-methylcytosines, and hydroxymethylated DNA containing only 5-hydroxymethylcytosines；
2、Each standard is a 200 base pair fragment that was generated by PCR using the Methylamp™ MS-qPCR Fast Kit (Cat. #A-P-1028) and contains 57 cytosine residues on the forward strand, of which 19 are at CpG sites；
3、Each DNA standard is confirmed by electrophoresis on an agarose gel；
4、The included PCR primers contain both forward and reverse strand primers to amplify a 127 base pair PCR product of the DNA standard. These PCR primers can be used for either endpoint or real time PCR；

This kit contains 3 x 2.5 µg each DNA amplified from the APC gene promoter (50 ng/µl) and APC Primer mix (3 x 400 µl each, 2.5 µM concentration). The APC PCR Primer mix produces a 195 bp amplicon.
Store at -20°C. This product is guaranteed stable for 6 months from date of receipt when stored properly.
