Solar® Blood DNA Midi Kit
背景资料:For the large scale isolation of total DNA from whole blood and related body fluids.
The Solar® Blood DNA Midi and Maxi Kits are specially designed for large scale isolation of genomic DNA. These kits provide rapid purification of genomic DNA from up to 10 ml whole blood samples with the midi kit and up to 20 ml whole blood samples with the maxi kit. Sample sources can be fresh and frozen whole blood treated with common anticoagulants such as citrate, EDTA and heparin. In addition plasma, serum, buffy coat, bone marrow, lymphocytes, platelets, and body fluid samples can also be used. Phenol/chloroform extractions, and time-consuming steps such as precipitation with isopropanol have been eliminated. DNA purified using the Solar® Blood DNA Midi and Maxi method is free of contaminants and enzyme inhibitors making it suitable for most downstream applications such as PCR, Southern blotting and Restriction enzyme digestion.
产品描述:The Solar® Blood DNA Midi Kit uses the reversible binding properties of HiBind® matrix, a new silica-based material. This is combined with the speed of midi-column spin technology. Red blood cells are selectively lysed and white cells collected by centrifugation. After lysis of white blood cells under denaturing conditions that inactivate DNase, genomic DNA is purified on the HiBind® DNA Midi column. A specifically formulated high salt buffer system allows DNA molecules greater than 200 bases to bind to the matrix. Cellular debris and other contaminants (such as hemoglobin) are effectively washed away and high quality DNA is finally eluted in ER Buffer.
